Featured Child of the Month

A personal note from Joel & Betsy Tardy – owners.

Adoption is something very near to our hearts. Three of our twelve children are adopted: one at seven, one at three months and one at thirteen.

There are hundreds of children here in Lubbock and thousands in Texas who are in need of a loving home. Culligan of Lubbock is partnering with Lubbock’s Department of Family and Protective Services to help bring attention to these waiting children. Each month we post brief information on a local child who is available for adoption. Please join with us in this effort to connect this child with the family they are hoping to join – maybe yours.

Living Water:

Water is an essential part of life, but great tasting water cannot compare to the Living Water we have discovered in Jesus Christ.

Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you Living Water.” “…Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal Life.” – John 4:10, 13 & 14

Our desire is to drink deeply and to share the Life we have been given in Jesus. – Joel and Betsy

History

Dale and Nancy Tardy started the Lubbock business in 1964.

“We started out with no customers. None… that was pretty scary. Nancy taught school and she would also help in the business. We would knock on doors until we signed up a new customer, then I would go to the alley and install the equipment.

That’s how we got started. I can still remember the first house where I installed a water softener.”- Dale
